Our doors are open 7 days a week to ensure that we can assist you in any way possible, specifically we guarentee to see any patient who requires emergency care as soon as we are able. We believe that having your own personal Doctor is important to your health and where possible try to maintain this important interaction.

Click here to have a look at an online map. The new and modern practice will be located on the corner of Bells Pocket and Gympie Road next the Wizard Pharmacy, at the entrance on Bells Pocket Road.
Strathpine 7 Day Medical Centre will still be accessible using the train service, stopping at Bray Park Train Station it is a 7 minute walk to our new location. There are also plenty of bus services which stop right outside Strathpine Plaza including services; 670, 669, 671-4 and 680.
If you are traveling by car or need assistance, we also have free parking available at the front and rear of our new practice.

Most of our standard appointments last for 10 minutes, if you think you need more time with one of our doctors please advise reception staff of this. You can learn more about what qualifies as a long appointment by clicking here.
Walk in appointments are available for clinical emergencies only. Please notify the receptionist of this on arrival (waiting times may vary, depending on the level of emergency).
Where possible, we will always try to ensure that we can find a suitable appointment time with your preferred doctor. Please be aware that emergencies will be given priority, if this situation should occur when you are scheduled to attend the practice, our staff will ensure every effort is made to contact you.

Due to a high demand of appointments at Strathpine 7 Day Medical Clinic, we do ask that if for any reason you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation that you notify us as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity for an appointment.

This practice employs the Australian After Hours Doctors service to provide after hours care when this surgery is closed. Please telephone 1300 HOME DR (1300 4663 37).If you have an emergency, please call 000.
Information you supply:
On arrival to Strathpine 7 Day Medical Clinic, we will ask that you complete a registration form prior to your consultation. To ensure optimal patient care, we request that you inform us of your cultural background. In addition, any changes to your personal information on subsequent visits to us, such as change of contact or Medicare details, address or emergency contact please bring this to the attention of our reception staff.
When this surgery receives significant abnormal test results, our staff will contact you to arrange a follow up appointment. Patients are encouraged to contact the surgery for results of all investigations. Your enquiry will lead to a reassurance that results were as expected, or of a course of action that the doctor has indicated. Results cannot be given over the phone and we advise that a follow up consultation for results is scheduled with your Doctor.
You will need to see your General Practitioner in order to get a repeat prescription, if the consultation is brief, it may be charged at a reduced rate. This service is at the discretion of the treating doctor. Referrals to specialists cannot be written without a consultation.
Home visits, within reasonable distance, are available for regular patients whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. Please contact the practice for further information.
If you have a problem, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or use our suggestion box. We take your compliments, concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel that you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery, please phone the Office of the Health Ombudsman on 133 464 or go to their website to find out more.
Telephone calls from patients will not be put through to our Doctors. Our reception staff are happy to take messages or assist you with any general questions regarding your healthcare. If you have a medical question after seeing your Doctor, our Nurse may be able to assist however should this query not be resolved you will need a subsequent consultation with your Doctor.
Should a general message be conveyed from reception to a Doctor on your behalf that is requiring a response, please allow up to 3 business days for a response.
If you have an urgent medical problem that is life threatening or serious, you will be provided advice from our nurse. All other issues will be triaged accordingly by our receptionist or nurse.
Email and Facsimiles:
While we endeavour to review all emails and facsimiles daily, certain circumstances can prevent a prompt response from occurring.
Please note no personal or medical information/advice will be provided via email as there is a known associated risk with electronic communication of potential privacy and confidentially been compromised.
Please be aware all communication from patients, to patients, or about patients become part of a patient’s health record, in addition to any actions taken in response to the message.
